Lifting threads

Lifting threads employed in aesthetic medicine offer safe treatment aimed at achieving tightness, firmness, and higher density of the skin by raising the collapsed tissue and create support for it.  The treatment is addressed at both women and men.  The thread supports the production of natural collagen, which pertains to the skin quality.  Applied for years in plastic surgery, using threads is a tested method of regenerating tissues.  The thread is made of polydioxanone which makes is fully absorbable, dissolving after ca. half a year after application.

The procedure is performed using a needle or cannula upon earlier spreading the application site with numbing cream, which makes the treatment painless.

The effects of the treatment are visible instantly.  The results persist for ca. 2 years.  For the first 5-7 days the face may be reddened and sensitive, though to an extent enabling everyday functioning.
